At COPESD, we are intentional in designing professional learning experiences that engage learners in ways that foster growth and success. Our regional PD day is guided by a careful analysis of regional needs, aligned professional learning, and targeted implementation support to advance instructional shifts and increase student learning and achievement. To spark curiosity and build shared purpose before the event, we provide pre-event communications featuring short videos, reflection prompts, and try-it-now strategies that establish common language and set the stage for meaningful engagement. 

The goal is for educators to arrive prepared to participate in thoughtful, interactive learning experiences. To ensure that learning translates into practice, we follow the PD day with Learning Bursts, which are short, focused, and actionable strategies that reinforce learning, promote intentional practice, and make the impact on teaching and student outcomes visible over time. Through this approach, we not only equip educators with the tools and strategies they need but also create a culture of continuous growth and collaboration.
