Five COPESD Districts Awarded New CTE Program Grants

Five districts within COPESD have been awarded 12 grants totaling $3,362,773 through Round 2 of Michigan’s Section 61v New CTE Program grants!

• Inland Lakes Schools
• Johannesburg-Lewiston Area Schools
• Onaway Area Community Schools
• Posen Consolidated School District
  
  

These three-year grants will help develop new programs across our area in healthcare, welding, CNC machining, public safety, teacher education, culinary arts, computer programming, construction trades and cosmetology.

For our rural communities, this means greater access to hands-on learning and more opportunities for students to explore careers and build skills closer to home. We’re excited for what comes next!
